What Is A First Meeting Like?

Maybe you have never met with a financial professional.  Maybe you have had one or more bad experiences ranging from pushy, sales guys focused on their wallet more than you or a lack of service or contact.  Either way, many people ask me what a first meeting is like and how much it costs.

A first meeting typically lasts for an hour and a half. If I do my job correctly, it should feel like a slightly nosy conversation. My intent is a first meeting is to get to know you and decide if we will be a good fit to move forward. (Hint: You should be evaluating me during a first meeting to decide if we are a good fit as well) I will ask questions about your history and as well as your goals. While we will touch on your financial situation, this meeting is more focused on your story.  The first consultation is always free of charge.
